In another big win for Monadelphous, following last week's news that they won a contract on Ichty’s Darwin LNG Project, it has today been announced that they have been awarded a 5 year, $600 million contract by Woodside Petroleum.
According to Business News Western Australia, Monadelphous will provide maintenance shutdown services and offshore brownfields implementation at Woodside’s Karratha gas plant, its Pluto operation, the North Rankin complex and its Goodwyn A and Angel platforms.
Monadelphous’ Managing Director spoke about the significance of this contract;
“We have a long history of delivering on our promises to customers, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, and implementing innovative solutions that deliver continual improvements in productivity.”
“It’s pleasing to see our work in these areas recognised by Woodside with the award of a new expanded contract which includes a significant portion of their offshore gas production facilities in the north-west of Western Australia, in addition to the onshore maintenance services we currently provide.”
Last week Monadelphous won a contract on Ichty's $49 billion Darwin LNG project, this is the same project Laing O'Rourke walked off of in March. Read that story here.
